Ahoy Matey

Wade went to a Pirate Party this past Friday at Christian's Kinderladen in Batesville, IN.  He went with some of my high school friends' kids.  Let me tell you, this was a super cute party, filled with cupcakes, a parade, goody bag, and a complete Halloween costume for this coming year! :)

Super fun, and all for only $20!  Jackpot! :) They also have a Fancy Nancy party... too bad I don't have any girls!

My 1st 5K!

This past Saturday, I ran in my very first 5k!  Granted, I've run/walked in a handful of 5ks... but this one was what I have been working up to with the Couch to 5K program.  Here are some pics, enjoy!  I am looking forward to my next 5k! :)  I think I'm addicted to running! :)  My time was 36:08, with only 5 minutes of walking at mile 2 at the water station.  My next goal is 34 minutes- no walking!

On to week 7 of C5K

4th of July

Happy 4th of July!  We walked in a parade with the TJ and Greg and their kids Caleb and Carly.  Here's the picture:

We started out with 5 balloons, only 1 made it to the actual parade... they all popped on the way to the line.

It rained most of the time, but it was fun all the same! :)
